Easy-To-Use Self-Piercing System
• Wash hands thoroughly, then clean earlobes with MediSept? Sterile Prep Pads or MediSept Ear Care Solution.
• Mark desired location with MediSept? Non-Toxic Marker Pen
• Open sterile package and remove one Medisept? self-piercer.
• Grasp firmly as shown in Fig. 3. Do not squeeze the piercer antil ready to pierceyour ear.
• Position piercer and close gently until it stops Fig. 3. Your thumb should be behind the ear. The point of the stud will touch the ear.
• To pierce, squeeze the piercer together firmly Fig. 4. The piercing stud is inserted and the clasp automatically installed in 1/10th of a second.
• Release pressure on piercer Fig. 5 and slide DOWNWARD and AWAY from the earlobe as shown in Fig. 6.
• Dispose of the used instrument.
• Repeat the process for the other ear, using the second piercer.

Pain, redness or swelling is not a normal result of ear piercing. This condition could indicate an allergic reaction to gold, or that your body cannot tolerate a foreign object in the skin. Should this condition occur, remove earrings immediately and see your physician at once.
